Welcome to the DeForest Area Fire & EMS Website
Located in DeForest, Wisconsin, the DeForest Area Fire & EMS Department professionally serves five communities in south-central Wisconsin. We are housed in a centrally-located station in DeForest, allowing us to quickly respond to all corners of our district. The department consists of over forty professional members and four full-time employees. Most of our personnel are cross-trained as Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), providing us with the dynamic resources needed to swiftly protect our community and neighbors. Annually, our department responds to approximately 1100 calls with 75% of those calls being EMS related. In addition to our services in the DeForest area, the department provides supplementary support to neighboring communities through mutual aid agreements.
